• Tyler Way (T.WAY) is an artist, designer, entrepreneur and all-around "creative." His passions include: art, design, footwear, fashion, food, basketball, football, and even golf. He is drawn towards projects that aid, uplift, and inspire people - and his work reflects such. He has worked with various non-profits and continues to be a valuable member in his community.

  • 2006-2008:
He started his career path from his freshman dorm room. While trying to distract himself from studying one day, he randomly picked up an old pair of sneakers from his floor and doodled a small design with a Sharpie marker. That got his wheels turning. He spent the next year researching and developing how to custom-design sneakers. He later "snuck" his way into the Detroit Pistons organization, introduced himself to NBA stars, and through persistence, earned a few All-Star clients. Then, a few more.

    2008-2009:
Once he got his custom sneaker service going, he continued to push forward. He started designing apparel graphics and launched his own small line of collegiate-licensed t-shirts that were sold through major college campuses.

    2009-2011:
Prior to graduating from Grand Valley State University in 2009 (with a B.A. in Advertising and Public Relations, with a minor in Entrepreneurship), he officially launched his own art, design, and creative company: T.WAY, LLC. He began freelancing, working on a variety of branding, marketing, and specialty project campaigns, along with continuing his own art series projects and the occassional custom-sneaker project.

    2011-2012:
During that time, Way met a gentleman who served his country for 8 years in the U.S. Navy and was, at the time, finishing his business degree at GVSU. Together, the two founded the non-profit organization, [Fashion Has Heart]. Through the HERO[series], they utilize the power of art, design, and fashion to benefit wounded U.S. service men and women.
2012-2013: In addition to acting as the Creative Director for [FHH] and an artist under his T.WAY, LLC brand name, he also became a contracted men's footwear designer for Sebago, an international, premium lifestyle company held by Wolverine Worldwide, Inc.
